# User Asset Lifecycle

The **User Asset Lifecycle** module provides complete visibility into all assets allocated to **individual users** throughout their lifecycle. It enables asset administrators, IT operations teams, and compliance teams to track current and historical asset assignments, monitor critical events, and enhance decision-making during offboarding, transfers, or audits.

This module consolidates every stage of the asset lifecycle — from onboarding to deallocation and end-of-life — capturing key events such as allocation, deallocation, transfers, hardware/software changes, incident logging, new service requests, patch or security updates, warranty expiry, and AMC expiry.

### **Asset Ownership Views**

User Preferences also provide ownership-based filters that allow different personas to see assets depending on their relationship to the user.

## **User Preferences**

This option in the **User Asset Lifecycle** module allows organizations to define filters that tailor the visibility of asset lifecycle events for different teams and user roles.

These preferences serve as organization-level filters, enabling teams to focus on the most relevant activities, such as assignments, transfers, support tickets, security checks, or end-of-life events.
