# Unit Conversion

The Unit Conversion section is used to configure conversion relationships between different units of measurement used across inventory and asset operations.

Unit Conversions are associated with:

* Unit of Measure configurations
* Item Groups
* Inventory calculations
* Procurement operations
* Asset Management workflows

These configurations help standardize quantity conversions and ensure accurate inventory calculations across different measurement units.

Examples:

* Kilogram to Gram
* Meter to Centimeter
* Liter to Milliliter

## **What You See on the Screen**

The Unit Conversion page displays the list of configured unit conversion mappings available in the Inventory Settings module. This page allows users to create, search, filter, edit, and delete unit conversion configurations.

The records table displays the following details:

* From Unit: Displays the source measurement unit configured for conversion.
* To Unit: Displays the target measurement unit configured for conversion.
* Description: Displays additional details related to the configured conversion.

## **Add Unit of Conversion**

The Add Unit of Conversion window is used to configure conversion relationships between two measurement units, including the conversion factor and the associated item group.
