# Unit of Measure

The Unit of Measurement section is used to configure **standardized measurement** units for inventory, asset, and item-related operations across Enterprise Asset Management modules.

These units are referenced while configuring:

* Attributes
* Item Templates
* Item Master
* Unit Conversion mappings
* Meter readings
* Inventory transactions

Standardized units help maintain consistent measurements across procurement, inventory tracking, maintenance, and operational workflows.

Examples:

* Kilogram (kg)
* Gram (g)
* Meter (m)
* Liter (L)
* Square Foot (ft²)

## **What you see on the screen**

The Unit of Measurement page displays all configured measurement units along with search, filtering, pagination, and management actions.

Users can:

* Search configured units
* Apply filter conditions
* Create new units
* Edit existing units
* Delete units
* Perform bulk selection operations
