# Shift Calendar

The Shift Calendar module in Workspace allows users to view and manage configured team shifts directly from the Calendar section. It provides a timeline-based view of shift schedules, assigned members, shift duration, shortages, and leave details for different teams within the department.

For detailed information about configuring shifts, business hours, and shift schedules, refer to the [Shift Configuration](/infraon-help/infinity-user-guide/infraon-configuration/user-management/shift-configuration.md) documentation.

## **What you can do here**

Using the Shift Calendar module, users can:

* View configured shifts for different teams within their department.
* View shift timings, working duration, shortages, and leave details.
* View members assigned to a particular shift.
* Add users to a shift.
* Remove users from a shift.
* Monitor operational coverage using the timeline-based shift view.
* View on-duty and off-duty member details for the selected shift.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.infraon.io/infraon-help/infinity-user-guide/workspace/calendar/shift-calendar.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
