# Introduction

The **Vendor Portal** is a dedicated, role-based interface within the Infraon platform that enables external vendors to securely access and manage information relevant to their engagement with an organization. This portal provides vendors with visibility into records associated with their vendor account, including contracts, purchase orders, assets, and activity logs.

This documentation focuses exclusively on **vendor-facing features** of the portal. It explains how vendor users can log in to the system, navigate the portal, view and manage allowed information, and use key vendor-related functions. This content is distinct from the Infraon Admin Manual and the internal platform user guides for ITSM or ITAM.

This guide will help vendors:

* Understand how the Vendor Portal is structured
* Log in for the first time
* Navigate core sections such as contracts, purchase orders, and assets
* Manage their profile and view activity logs
* Perform vendor-specific actions based on their assigned role

All sections of this guide are presented in a clear, step-by-step format, with screen references and practical examples to help vendors use the portal effectively.

## What You Can Do with the Vendor Portal

The Vendor Portal provides access to a subset of the Infraon platform’s capabilities, tailored specifically for external vendors. Depending on roles and permissions configured by the Infraon administrator, vendors can:

* View vendor profile and organizational details
* Access and review associated contracts
* View purchase orders issued to the vendor
* Track assets linked to the vendor
* Maintain representative and address information
* Review activity logs to track actions performed in the portal

All information accessible within the portal is restricted to vendor-specific records and to the action permissions granted to the logged-in user.
