API Quickstart

Make your first Infraon API call in under 5 minutes.

This quickstart walks through the basic setup: generating an API key, pointing to your instance, and sending a test request. The examples use the same request in several languages, so you can start with the one that matches your stack.

Need some help?

Troubleshoot the errors you are most likely to hit.

I get Invalid API key.

The key is wrong, expired, or the ApiKey prefix was left off.

Check the header reads Authorization: ApiKey <key>, then reauthenticate.

I get API key is missing.

No Authorization header reached the server.

Add the header — some clients drop it on redirects.

I get Please provide username.

A required field is missing from the JSON body.

Send every required key, with the right type.

The request succeeds, but the result is not what I expect

Check the filters on the request before changing your client code.

Postman, Insomnia, and Swagger UI all show exactly what was sent.
