To add a new dashboard:

* Navigate to the **Dashboard module**.
* Expand the left panel by clicking the **right arrow key**.
* Click the **plus (+) icon** to create a new dashboard.
* Provide a **name** (this name will represent and help identify the dashboard) for the dashboard and click Create.

<div align="left"><img src="https://8249392-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FE4mkwSP8a1BSD9BFNFav%2Fuploads%2F1o8jftXggzYD609C7BMh%2F4.png?alt=media" alt=""></div>

Once created, the next step is configuring **Widgets**, which dynamically display data from various modules in graphical or tabular formats.

### Widget

Infraon widgets are pre-built components designed to pull key insights from your infrastructure, ITSM modules, and network data, and display them in clear, interactive formats such as:

<table data-header-hidden><thead><tr><th width="200.39996337890625"></th><th></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Chart Type</strong></td><td><strong>Description / Example</strong></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Data Panel</strong></td><td><p>Displays high-level KPIs or summary metrics in a compact panel format.</p><p><strong>Example:</strong> Total Tickets Today, Total Active Assets.</p></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Data Table</strong></td><td><p>Presents detailed data in a structured table with sorting, filtering, and drill-down options.</p><p><strong>Example:</strong> Asset Location Drilldown Table.</p></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Line Chart</strong></td><td>Visualizes trends over time with a line graph. Ideal for SLA breaches or request resolution trends.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Bar Chart</strong></td><td><p>Shows comparative metrics in horizontal/vertical bar form.</p><p><strong>Example:</strong> Tickets by Priority, License Usage.</p></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Area Chart</strong></td><td><p>Highlights cumulative growth or changes over time with shaded areas.</p><p><strong>Example:</strong> Static Trend of Tickets.</p></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Gauge Chart</strong></td><td><p>Displays progress against a target or threshold (like a speedometer).</p><p><strong>Example:</strong> SLA Compliance Rate.</p></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Sunburst Chart</strong></td><td><p>Provides hierarchical data in concentric circles for drill-down insights.</p><p><strong>Example:</strong> Business Service Summary.</p></td></tr></tbody></table>

Widgets are grouped into multiple categories, such as Assets, Statistics, Events, Views, ITSM, Contract Management, IMACD, Purchase Orders, NCCM, System, Log Management, and IPAM, ensuring complete coverage across IT operations and business service management.

#### **Assets**

The **Assets category** provides insights into IT and Fixed Assets, including inventory distribution, purchases, license usage, consumables, and vendor information. IT teams can track asset lifecycles, utilization, and financial impact.

**Event and Summary Filters in Ticket Dashboard Widgets**

The Event and Summary fields are available as custom filters in dashboard widgets to further refine ticket data displayed in widgets such as Ticket Summary, Ticket Assignment Summary, Aging Summary, Count, and Created vs Closed.

These filters allow users to narrow widget data by text-matching ticket summaries or event types across the Incident, Problem, Change, and Request modules.

Supported operators:

* **Event:** in, contains, not in
* **Summary:** in, contains, not in

When applied, the widget refreshes to display only records that match the configured filter criteria.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Service Category is available in the custom filter for ITSM widgets. Selecting one or more categories filters the widget data accordingly.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:**

* The Summary and Event fields appear in the filter field dropdown when adding a custom filter.
* The contains operator allows partial text matching (for example, filtering all tickets with the word *server* in the summary).
* Filters cannot be applied without entering a value. If the value field is left empty, a validation message is displayed, and the filter is not applied.
* Clearing the custom filter restores the widget to display all applicable records.
