Tenable

The Tenable integration enables the synchronization of IT assets discovered through Discovery and Infraon agents into the Tenable application. Once synchronized, Tenable automatically initiates vulnerability scans on these assets, helping organisations identify and manage potential security risks. This integration enables end users to continuously track, monitor, and respond to vulnerabilities across their IT asset inventory, providing improved visibility and control.

How to Install

Installation Steps

Step 1: Go to the Marketplace tab on the left navigation panel to begin the integration. Click on the Tenablecard from the available integrations to open the plugin details page.

Step 2: On the plugin page, click the Install button to add the Tenable integration to your Infraon environment.

Once installed, the configuration page will become available for setup.

Step 3: Enter the Tenable connection details so Infraon Infinity can communicate with your Tenable instance.

Access Key*	Tenable API Access Key — paste the key provided by your Tenable account (you can click the eye icon to reveal). Example format: AKCxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Secret Key*	Tenable API Secret Key — paste the secret paired with the Access Key.Example format: s3cr3t_xxx...

Fields marked with * are mandatory. After filling in the fields, click 'Verify' to validate the connection. If verification passes, proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Configure Tenable properties for your organization by selecting the appropriate policy and repository after verification, ensuring they align with your scanning and reporting requirements.

Once the appropriate policy and repository are selected, click Submit to save the Tenable integration.

Step 5: After successfully saving the configuration, click Sync Now to initiate synchronization between Infraon Infinity and Tenable. This process updates IT assets from Infraon into Tenable, enabling vulnerability detection and analysis.

Action	Description
Sync Now	Starts the synchronization process between Infraon Infinity and Tenable. IT assets are updated in Tenable for vulnerability scanning and reporting.

The integration is now complete, and the synchronized assets will be available in the Tenable platform for vulnerability assessment and analysis.

Once configured, any new asset discovered through agents or Discovery will be automatically synchronized with the application.
